Horses are truly unique creatures. They are large outdoor animals, yet we form a special bond with them more like a cat or dog.  Indeed the horse is a unique and very special pet with their own specific needs.

We have over 18 years of experience caring for horses. Dr. Johnson has been described by our clients as having "a calming and gentle nature with horses.”  We offer routine health care for horses including surgery, preventive care, dentistry, and nutrition including forage (pasture and hay) analysis, feed analysis, and molds and toxin screens.  We also offer Winter and Spring seminars for horse owners.

We hold our annual equine wellness events every spring. These Saturday events feature discounts on vaccinations and parasite control, a picnic lunch, equine trivia contests, educational seminars, great camaraderie, prizes, music, a photo slide show, and loads of fun!  Don’t miss it!
