Technician Assistant

Miranda joined our team as a volunteer intern for the summer of 2006. We were so impressed with her performance that we asked her to join our team as a technician assistant. Miranda is a junior at the University of Minnesota in pre-vet studies with plans to apply for veterinary school next year. Good luck Miranda!

Miranda shares her life with a diverse group of pets.  Her pitbull Thor has landed in the doggie ER for such poor decisions as eating a LOT of rabbit food and running head first into a tree while playfully chasing the kitties.  Random, a pitbull mix, is a bit more reserved but loves to sing along with the harmonica! Lola and Princess Delilah are her precocious pygmy goats. They don’t back down from anything and have been known to head butt Thor just to show him who’s boss.  And then there’s Chopper and Drako, two bearded dragons, who love to “wave” at one another.

When Miranda is not working or studying, she enjoys horseback riding, playing her guitar, and watching movies.
